While Black Friday officially falls on November 29 in 2024, many stores have sales that start early, morph into Cyber Monday, and continue through the end of the month.

Where to Shop The Best Deals in 2024

Of course, I always love to disclaim that shopping small and supporting local artisans is my preferred MO (s/o Etsy!); there are times however, (like when you’re on a tight budget or you need to buy a million gifts and have very little time to do so) when you can’t beat the convenience of big box store deals.

This time of year, holiday shoppers typically look for the best Black Friday deals at Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy, Target, Macy’s, Sephora, Ulta, and Apple.

Shopping Online vs. In Store Deals

Now, I’ve done all the variations of Black Friday. Leaving my house at 2 am. Circling the parking lot 500 times wishing Uber existed back when I was naive enough to leave my house on Black Friday. Waiting in line for hours in the freezing cold. Watching police arrest crazies who dared to shoplift on the busiest shopping day of the year. In stilettos, no less.

In recent years I’ve opted for the much tamer option of online Black Friday shopping.

A 2024 survey from Shopper.com states that 58.4% of consumers prefer a hybrid shopping model, combining online and in-store experiences.
